(12-30-04)    "Rehearsals with Derrick have been 10 times better than what we anticipated. The guy is a machine. We are having a blast playing about 10 songs we haven't played in years and some we never did. It is a 21 song show covering all of our albums We have a new spark, and we are very excited about the prospect of massive touring this year and a new album. We are also doing new promo pictures for the websites tonight."

"Here is Christmas" available on Perris Records (12/01/04)

Perris Records has released a new Christmas compilation CD titled, "The Glam That Stole Christmas" Vol.1. $12.95.

 Lillian Axe's version of  "Here is Christmas" is included on this CD. This song is definitely a must have for Lillian Axe fan!!

Show scheduled with new singer (10/19/04)

Come ring in the new year with Lillian Axe and newest member, Derrick LeFevre. The show will be Click's in Baton Rouge 12-31-04.  Steve recently stated "We will be playing lots of new songs as we are revamping the whole show."

New Singer Announced (9-2-04)

The following is a message from Steve regarding the new Lillian Axe singer:

"After reviewing many promo packages and listening to many CD's, we have discovered the next singer for Lillian Axe. It was a very difficult decision due to the fact that there was an enormous amount of talent to choose from. After weighing out all the options and scrutinizing the criteria, we have found the next vocalist for Lillian Axe. His name is Derrick LeFevre.

I have known Derrick for over 10 years and he has been the vocalist for many good local bands. He is a true star, but just hasn't had his break yet. He has been a huge fan of Lillian Axe for years. His enthusiasm is unbelievable. We have already recorded 3 of the 11 songs for the album with him and I am thrilled about the way the songs have emerged. Not only will fans be impressed with his approach to the new material, but his performance on the existing songs is a great tribute to the performance of Ron Taylor. You'll have to hear it to believe it.

I would like to thank all of our fans worldwide for their support, belief, and patience as we prepare to take the next step forward in Lillian Axe history. Derrick is highly enthused about the prospect of touring worldwide and meeting the fans. We anticipate completion of the album by year's end. Michael T. Ross, keyboardist for Angel and Hardline, will be guest appearing on the album as well. We are very excited about having him perform on our album. We anticipate much more touring in 2005 in support of the album, tentatively titled 'Waters Rising.'
